search_legislation
Best general-purpose search. Returns whole documents ranked by semantic relevance, with optional full text inlined. Use this for any legal question when you want curated, ready-to-cite results.
search_legislation_passages
Returns individual passages (paragraphs and sections) ranked by semantic similarity, rather than whole documents. Use to surface quotable text or gather candidate passages before narrowing down.
search_legislation_by_keyword
Exact-match keyword search across titles, excerpts, and full body. Use for named entities (people, organisations, places) and specific legal terms that semantic search might not match precisely.
find_legislation_by_number
Look up a specific Omani decree by its official number in NN/YYYY format (e.g. 10/2025). Use when the user names or cites a specific decree.
get_legislation_text
Fetch the complete text of one or more Omani legislation items by slug. Use after another tool returns slugs, or when you already know the slug.
list_recent_legislation
Return the most recently published Omani legislation, newest first. Use for "what's new" style queries or to surface freshly issued decrees.
Connect in Claude Desktop
Open Claude Desktop, then go to Settings → Connectors.
Click Add custom connector.
Paste the server URL https://mcp-lr.decree.om/ and confirm.
Sign in with the email tied to your Decree account and enter the 6-digit code we send you.
Other MCP-capable clients
The same URL works with any client that supports OAuth-based remote MCP — including Claude.ai on the web, Cursor, and others. Add it as a custom MCP server using https://mcp-lr.decree.om/, then sign in with your Decree email when prompted.
What you need
An active Lex AI subscription. The email you sign in with must be the one on your Decree account.
